Ranchi locates in the northeast of India. It is rich in natural resources, but poor in infrastructure: short of electricity and water supply. People are difficult in obtaining clean water and thus easy to get infectious diseases.
Meanwhile, more than 80% of the people in Ranchi depends on agriculture. But 40% of the arable land does not have irrigation facilities.

Thanks to Ranchi’s strong solar radiation and long sunshine hours, customized solutions are made by joint efforts between Lucky Elephant and local enterprises, and meets Indian MNRE standard.
As long as there is sunshine, the system pumps water contentiously. Small reservoirs are built for night usage of water. With a pressure switch, it’s goes like tap water.
It can meet needs of household, small-scale crop irrigation and livestock breeding. Now Lucky Elephant systems have been widely used throughout India.
